Vince is coming home from Kiki and Kappa’s today! Jeremy’s on his way to the airport and Emy and Bob are just about to put Vince on a plane. Vince, the intrepid traveler, flying by himself – he’s not afraid of turbulence, he’s just really, really scared about the flush of the airplane toilet.

OK, to continue our vacation story – on Saturday (8/1) we celebrated Tivoli day by seeing Emy’s awesome new apartment – high ceilings, hardwood floors, big windows and right in town…

Friday night, after we reached Bard, I wanted to see a new art installation called The Parliament of Reality. It’s a little island which is surrounded by a moat. I always love art that has water.

We’ve been out and about the past five or six days – so blog posting has been light. I had limited access to a computer, it felt like I was living in 1992. I’ll update what we did over the next week or so, because for the next 10 days, I have to catch up on the butt load of work I’ve neglected by taking days off and there will be no interesting pictures except ones of me sitting in front of a computer.

This week, Vince is staying up at Kiki and Kappa’s house. We spent Friday (7/31) driving up to the Hudson Valley, NY. There is no better way to spend a road trip than noshing on junk food (I guess.) I like this photo not only because Vince is being nice, but also because you can see Jeremy in the rear window looking all “concerned”.
