Hi! That is for threading needles! My mom had one in her sewing kit when I was a kid. Slip the thread through the wire and poke the wire through the eye of the needle! More trouble than it is worth – in my opinion Sue
That is for old lady like me to put the thread into the small hole of a needle. Not for young people. It helps after I tried many time to put the thread into the needle hole.
