I’m trying to learn about white balance and how to shoot wide open. I’ve figured out how to do custom white balance but I usually point to a white wall, I’m suppose to use a gray card right?
honestly, the white balance always confused me. i think a grey card would work. but then don’t you need to expose it properly? or is the grey card just for exposure? and you need something white to set the white balance? I don’t know.
if you figure it out, lemme know.
oh. i think if you shoot RAW you can set the white balance in post processing. Also there’s a white balance bracketing feature for JPEGs.
