Jeremy drove into work today (he hates driving into work, I think he’s done it less than 5 times since he’s been at his job almost 9 years now) because he had to drive to New Jersey tonight for a work trip for the next few days. Of course, it’s pouring rain the whole day. Google maps took him on surface streets the whole way downtown.
Edda’s excited to go to school in the rain. Laughing, happy. The rest of us are still a little sick (Vince) or tired (Jeremy & me). Vince passed an unfortunate milestone today. He still felt crappy when he woke up this morning, but he looked at me wearily and said, I can’t miss more class or I’ll get too far behind, hand me a Motrin. And then he went to school. Isn’t that such a terrible adult thing? To keep doing what you are suppose to do even when you feel lousy? Boo.
Text confirms terrible traffic on the way into work.
On his way to New Jersey this afternoon, he got into the minorest of fender benders. This car (two cars back) rear ended the car right behind Jeremy and that car got pushed into the Honda. Luckily, only the tiniest of scuffs happened on the bumper of our car.
I'm glad Jeremy is okay!
