Vince left for Davis yesterday morning and now the house is “back to normal”-ish. Normally I’d get the house entirely to myself during the school hours, but Jeremy remains stubbornly working-from-home which will never change.
I went to the 2nd date of the aftercare – this time, I think I was supposed to leave, but no one told me to leave, so I awkwardly stayed and at some moment, I felt like I was preventing them from fully relaxing and letting the kids watch videos at the end of the day on Friday. I also think I, for a moment, miffed the person running the program, but, perhaps I recovered. Anyways, we’ll see.
The other aftercare called and said staffing wasn’t ready to start next Monday (which I suspected would be the case), so it’s delayed.
