Jeremy made it to Germany on Saturday night/ Sunday morning. The rules went into effect on Sunday morning – that’s when Germany was allowing American tourists, but no one at the border seemed to know this, so Jeremy did have to be routed through strange locations with the border patrol to plead his case and he did successfully, almost missing his connecting flight from Frankfurt to Berlin.
