Jeremy’s work is still not at a return-to-the-office state. But there are starting to be meetings outdoors (?) downtown. He took the opportunity to bike to work yesterday. I asked – do you still have an office? And, yeah, its still downtown and it’s still full of his stuff.
He hasn’t been back since April 2020. Some proximity keys didn’t work anymore, but that’s getting fixed. He came back home and said – it’s a good space. It might be nice to go in sometime. There were three people at work, at a place that usually holds 50? 100? Two were new hires since the pandemic – he said hello and introduced himself and one was a colleague he’s known for a while. Jeremy’s like – I had an unscheduled spontaneous hallway conversation today! It’s been a while.
