I did some plant chores yesterday. Jeremy said that I have a plant hobby which I guess is true. Sometimes I get into a hobby rut where I think that hobbies are a waste of time and then I have to reframe it. So here’s a plant that I was watering yesterday – it grew a branch out of its drainage hole. Do you see it?

I’ve been learning about keeping carnivorous plants too. Here’s my venus fly trap that’s not doing too poorly. I have not fed it any insects yet. Apparently, it does not need any bugs to survive – just bright light and distilled water…regular tap will kill it.
