So for this trunk and treat, I wanted to run a bubble machine, so I needed to know if my car could power something. So I tried out my hairdryer and that seemed to work. How long do you think the car battery can run a hair dryer? I have no idea.
I went to volunteer at Main Street last night – I like this Friday Vibes, it was costume of course – now you can see my medusa cap which was heavy and gave me a slight headache, so I didn’t wear it very long. Lots of folks’ costumes needed explaining to me – I’m not well versed in anima or k-pop demon hunters.
This was the cutest couple costume – Wednesday and Pugsley.

On Halloween day, Elka was the big winner – she found a large slice of pizza on the ground.
And Elka did come to the trunk and treat and the minister’s parents set up as a costco sample stand and they were giving out hot dogs – of which they were delighted to give Elka an entire hot dog. Here’s my trunk and treat which was fine, I took down the skeletons from the front yard and brought them over to give out the candy. I also did not manage to have the car turn on the bubble machine which was a little bit frustrating, but also just totally fine. It was an absolutely gorgeous day to be outside. I hung out with folks to get to know them better. There were maybe 25 kids. I came away with no ill will towards trunk or treats. And then I went home and stuck the skeletons back into the tree and we handed out candy to kiddos for the first time in a long while. We got about 30 kids.
