Manic Monday…

Well, I didn’t get out of bed until 11:30 today. I didn’t get into work until 1pm. That’s definitely the latest I have ever come into work so far. Things are still pretty busy, tho I’m good at avoiding work.

Rock climbing class starts tomorrow. I’m psyched. Arif and Tahera are joining me, and we’ll get a pretty good crowd going on Thursday also. Acting class is over. Honestly, I’m not sure what to think about it. It was fun, but really waaaay too short. I’ve decided I like the interactive classes a whole lot better than the lecture format classes. I’ll have to take something next semester. On a side note, I’m going to see a play called Doubt. Some people in the class were working on scenes from that play, so I’m curious to see how it’s professionally put on. Ronnie is going to go with me.

Also, I got a book of NY Times crossword puzzles. It’s got a lot of the easy ones, and it seemed a whole lot easier than printing them out. Unfortunately, they are missing the titles which make it a little harder. Ah well…

Also, since Choon was kind enough to link to our blog… here the link to his blog.

Dresden.

Jeremy’s off tonight to Germany. I hope he packed some warm stuff.

We are getting ready to host a Thanksgiving shin-dig here in our tiny apartment. We are going to invite everyone we know, which is less than a crowd but more than a handful. I wonder if they are going to show up. We only have 6 chairs. Hmmm…

Welcome Choon!

Since I know now that Choon is reading our blog, I thought I’d put a picture of him up. 🙂 Last night we went to eat ethiopian food – it was the first time in like 10 years when I had a bad experience in college with it. I vowed never to eat it again. Perhaps I was young. Perhaps I was uncultured. After all, I don’t think I liked sushi back then either. So we all went to this place, Zeni, and it was pretty good. There was the grilled beef dish that was great, and there was the chicken that you were supposed to eat with like feta-ish cheese that I grew to love over the course of dinner. The veggies weren’t anything spectacular. Go figure. Posted by Picasa

Edda videos.

Here are a few videos of Edda at the park with us this morning. She has been in a pissy mood all weekend – crying and whining a bit more than usual. On the videos you can hear her grinding her teeth and making her usual vocalizations. We are encouraging her to copy sounds like, “Boo” and “Ma”, with minimal success so far. She’s not mouthing her hand – which is a bit unusual for her.

Walking around some more…

You know, if I do buy the digital SLR, I won’t be able to take these little videos. Hmmm…

All alone on a Friday night.

Jeremy went out to eat duck with some co-workers. A bunch of people are in town from overseas, so he’s downtown doing dinner face time.

I’m very lucky that Jeremy doesn’t often go to dinners or travel for business too much. We are most often found together at home with the kids after business hours and that’s the way, uh huh, uh huh, I like it, uh huh, uh huh!

One of our neighbors just recently got a Maltese named Toasty. He came over today and Ruby had a nice little playdate, although Vince kept picking up Toasty and putting him on the dining room table. Millions of blurry photos were taken, here’s the best of the bunch…
